We heard that the Juice needed some work to cover his green fees since becoming a free man in 2021.  Given the OFFL's long history of supporting retired athletes, we are here to help with trivia provided by O.J. Simpson.  This week's question is "This week's question, "Who made more Pro Bowls during their career, Ray Lewis or Tony Gonzalez?"

The answer is Tony Gonzalez as he made it to 14 pro bowls during his career. Ray Lewis came close but only made it to 13 pro bowls in his career.

This week's question is "What year did the first Madden Game come out? It was called John Madden Football.
a.  1986
b.  1988
c.  1991
d.  1993

Winners this week will recieve theatre passes to the remake of  "Friday."  Check out E.J. and Dumphy's performance as you enjoy this modern fantasy football  interpretation of a cult classic.   Making a special disappearance is Josh Burrow and the entire bench of the Mean Machine.

It's Thanksgiving Week!  Mo football, mo football, mo football!  Last week, the playoff battle looked liked this.

Linguists, One Seed Gangsters, Two Seed
Hoffnuts, Three Seed  Romo, Four Seed
Rodgers Wich, Five Seed Riders, Six Seed

What a difference a week makes.  Going into Week 12, this is the picture.

Cunning Linguists, One Seed Romosexual Tendencies, Two Seed
NY Gangsters, Three Seed Mr. Hoffnuts, Four Seed
Rodger's Witch, Five Seed Blitzburgh, Six Seed

It goes without saying how important points are.  Even with the OFFL Wildcard structure, these standings run very close to what the standings would be in a record only format.  The only difference would be that the Dawgs and Blackbirds would edge out Blitzburgh based on W/L.  At the end of the day, we are a performance league-- The Wildcard Chase is now only 4 points out at best with the following teams trailing in this order:  Riders, Fanatics, TTD, Dawgs, Machine, Birds, Gators, and Fish.

Pay attention to the Blitzburgh vs Rodger's Witch and the TTD vs. Mr. Hoffnuts games...  These two games may trash everything just outlined...

This is still anyone's game with two weeks to go in the regular season.  Can the teams on the outside looking in, exercise their demons?  With the top 4 teams in the running for the Wildcard, there are 11 players Questionable or on the IR currently (20 players are hurt within the bottom 8 teams).  Seeds 3 thru 6 could see another shake up this week.

-BomB Out!

Last week, Pedro scores another 5 out of 7.  This leaves Pedro 44 for 77, batting at 571 for the season.  Week 12 picks are brought to you by actress and Old Navy Girl, Natasha Lyonne from Poker Face and Russian Doll (two really good shows).

Zack's Fun Facts From Last Week

Lions are 8-2 for the first time since 1962 and for the first time since 1969 the Lions and Browns have won at least 7 of their first 10 games.

Brock Purdy becomes the first 49ers QB to complete a game with a perfect passer rating (min. 20 pass attempts).

Tommy DeVito has more pass TDs (6) than Zach Wilson (5); DeVito also has more career games with multiple pass TDs than Kenny Pickett; DeVito has 3 pass TDs this week, the last time Daniel Jones had that many was December 22, 2019: 48 games ago; DeVito is also the first QB to be sacked 9+ times and throw for 3 TDs.

Bears had a 98.8% win probability with 3:59 left to play; Lions had the ball for only 19:36 minutes which is the 12th lowest time of possession, in a victory, since 1991.

Matt Eberflus is 0-9 versus the NFC North.

Tyreek Hill is the first player in 62 years to top 1,200 receiving yards through 10 games.

Kenny Pickett threw 8 passes past the first down marker and only completed 1.

For the 32nd consecutive year the Commanders will not win at least 11 regular season games; (barring a December collapse by the Lions) every other NFL franchise will have done it at least twice in that span.

Quentin Johnston ranks 22nd among NFL rookies in receiving yards (183) and 19th in reception (20).

Sean Payton (5) has finally surpassed Nathaniel Hackett (4) in wins as head coach of the Broncos.

Jets have the lowest 3rd down conversion rate through 10 games (22.9%) since stats began being collected on this (1991).

Zach Wilson (32 games): 11 W, 21-25 TD-INT, 36.8% success rate, 6.3 yards per attempt, 4.95 net yards per attempt, 9.7% sack percentage: all on 946 pass attempts.  Eagles lost a game to both of them (sorry, had to).

DaRon Bland has 4 INT TDs this season: that’s more TDs than the Jets WRs combined.

Josh Allen has the most total TDs (205) by anyone in their first 6 seasons.

5 of the Chargers’ 6 losses have been by 3 points or less.

Bobby Wagner is the 3rd player in history to have 100 tackles in 12 straight seasons (Derrick Brooks, London Fletcher).

Rams won their first game in November since 2020.

Jamarcus Russell (31 games): 7 W, 18-23 TD-INT, 34.3% success rate, 6 yards per attempt, 4.83 net yards per pass attempt, 9.3% sack percentage: all on 680 pass attempts.

Not a Fan of iPhone Name Drop -CNet

Not a Fan of NameDrop? Here's How to Disable the Contact-Sharing Feature

NameDrop has split Apple fans. If you're not on board, don't fret, it's super easy to disable the feature.  iOS 17 has been available to compatible phones, and the iPhone 15 series has been on shelves, for over a month. That means Apple fans have had plenty of time to assess all of the new features the tech giant's latest upgrade brought. While some features are super helpful or fun to use, others are, well... not.  One feature that has got Apple fans split is NameDrop. While some fans are enjoying the ease of being able to simply raise their phone to share their contact info with others, some are wary of that very same ease. Specifically, there is concern about how easy contact information can accidentally be shared with someone you don't want to share with -- or even worse, how easy it could be stolen.

Users on X (formerly Twitter) have brought up concerns about how the feature could jeopardize users' safety. For instance, several women have raised concerns about being able to dodge creeps in public spaces. For instance, @ChanSteele tweeted, "How do you NameDrop a fake number? Asking for all women."  These concerns about safety are absolutely valid, and if you find yourself concerned and wanting to disable NameDrop, read on to find out your options for NameDrop management.

For more, here's how to fix the most annoying iOS 17 features and everything you should do before updating to iOS 17. So is NameDrop dangerous? The good news is, NameDrop isn't necessarily dangerous. According to Apple, you're able to select which pieces of information are shared when you NameDrop your contact to another person. You also only have two options when two iPhones are placed together and the option for NameDrop is presented. You can either Receive Only, which means that you will only receive the other person's contact information, or you can Share. When you select Share you will send your contact information and receive the other person's contact information. So if you somehow accidentally NameDrop with someone you don't want to, you've got options. You can be ultraselective about what information you choose to share, or opt to receive only.

However, if you still don't feel comfortable with NameDrop, you can disable the feature. It's important to note that NameDrop is automatically enabled when you download iOS 17 or purchase an iPhone 15, so you will have to turn it off if you don't want it active on your phone. How do I disable NameDrop? If you want NameDrop disabled for good, then you're in luck. It's pretty simple to turn it off. All you need to do to disable NameDrop is:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap on General.
3. Navigate to the AirDrop tab.
4. Once you open the tab, simply toggle the Bring Devices Together option off.

It's as easy as that. And if you have a change of heart and decide you feel comfortable with NameDrop and want to enable it, all you need to do is toggle the Bring Devices Together option back on. For more, here's our review of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

TAILGATING WITH MISTRESS BIANCA

Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes
(can be modified to use that left over turkey)

Buffalo chicken recipes are a crowd favorite on game day. These buffalo chicken sloppy joes take the spicy, saucy, messy glory of buffalo wings and turn it into a delicious sandwich filling that can hang out in a slow cooker for hours. Grab some blue cheese or ranch and enjoy these saucy sandwiches!

Ingredients
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, plus more to taste
1 tsp. ground black pepper
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 lb. ground chicken
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 c. buffalo sauce
2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 hamburger buns
Crumbled blue cheese, for serving
Ranch dressing, for serving
Blue cheese dressing, for serving

Directions

1.  In a large skillet or Dutch oven, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the onion, carrot, celery, salt, and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened but not browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add the ground chicken and cook until the meat is crumbly and no longer pink.

2.  Add the tomato sauce, buffalo sauce, honey, and Worcestershire, stirring well to combine. Simmer until heated through, tasting for salt.

3.  Serve sloppy joe filling hot on hamburger buns with crumbled blue cheese and ranch or blue cheese dressing.

4.  Slow cooker reheat instructions: Allow the filling to cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container and storing it in the refrigerator. At least 2 hours before it’s time to eat, place the filling into the crock of a slow cooker and heat on low, stirring occasionally, until hot, 1 to 2 hours.

Tip: Ground chicken can be substituted for ground turkey.
Tip: Drain the chicken before adding the buffalo and tomato sauce if it looks watery.
